Wellness Puzzle Piece: Occupational Health Dimension

Our occupation health dimension of our wellness shows up in our jobs. If you’re in school, being a student is your job! Being healthy in this dimension often means you’re doing work that is motivating, interesting, inspiring, and/or challenging (in a good way) to you. But it also means that you understand how to balance your work with leisure and other responsibilities in your life.

What do/did you do that positively contributed to your occupational health?

Actions:

  1. Selecting elective courses you enjoy at school
  2. Choosing projects that interests or challenges you
  3. Surrounding yourself with people (teachers, classmates, co-workers) who inspire you
  4. Making time for your hobbies
  5. Completing house chores you are responsible for (like cleaning your room)
